It looks like a jewellery item/imitation, are you sure it is made of gold?

I the owner of a coin. It is exact gold. I distinguish imitations from original coins.

So, this is the imitation in my opinion - both calligraphy and tughrá are too crude Wink Note name of sultán Mahmúd on reverse...(at 3 o'clock)

Doctor Mu,
This looks very much like brass,as it appears corroded in the area in the hole.

Friends, I well distinguish Brass from gold . The coin corresponds{meets} to all accessible descriptions and images. On a coin 9 year of board - the first year of release of this type. 1 altin 9 years - reported, not confirmed. A coin 1,5 altin rumi - not a fake and not imitation, it probably a specimen, not go in a series.

I saw this coin holding it in my fingers, so I can say it is 100 per cent genuine.
By the way, if some of you really consider THIS quality of die-carving, calligraphy and tughra design CRUDE, I would rather admit my being no expert in Arabic language, script or whatever of this sort, give up and retire to a monastery.
